How to prepare for your in-home consultation

    1. Make a list of exactly what you want to have done. (Remember that changing plans in the middle of a project may cost extra money)

    2. Set a clear budget. (Research market prices on sites like Reddit based on posts/comments by other local homeowners or talk to your friends and family  – lead generating websites like Homestars tend to suggest conservative estimates)

    3. Write down your questions and send them in by email to help us prepare specific and actionable advice.

    4. Save your design inspo in a folder on Pinterest, Instagram or in the cloud to readily share your vision with us.

    5. Set aside 1-hour for a detailed walk-through of your home (more or less depending on project scope).

    6. Request material samples ahead of time. We can also arrange site visits to see some of our projects on the go with some advanced notice. Personal references available on request.

    7. Review your proposal (and prelim design package if available).

    8. Email us any of your questions, revisions or intention to proceed/decline – follow through is very much appreciated.

    1. We schedule on-site consultations every Tuesday and Thursday.

    2.  Confirm appointment by phone or email at least 1-3 hours in advance.

    3. Q & A section – Get to know each other, project goals, potential roadblocks and define what success looks like.

    4. Discuss different line items to include in the estimate.

    5. Review material samples and/or past project case studies.

    6. Take necessary measurements.

    7. Submit a detailed estimate.

    8. Follow up based on scope or project specific schedule.
